COMING SOON - July 2010
Firstly, my apologies to those customers who have wanted to order our teleprompter over the past few months.
Unfortunatley our efforts are focussed on a very large order for other products in the Teletest Range and we hope to return to the teleprompter as soon as possible.
We will email everyone on our list 2 weeks beforethe first batch is ready - please keep you enquiries coming in though.
Nick Rose, Managing Director, Teletest Ltd
Teletest is launching the World's most sophisticated portable range of teleprompter products in July 2010.
Teletest Prompter
This compact and lightweight teleprompter rig can be mounted on most professional broadcast cameras and lenses.
Based around a lightweight and high quality beamsplitter this rig can be collapsed and folded away for easy transport.
Designed using a dedicated Teletest high resolution and high brightness 16/9 LCD monitor, this teleprompter overcomes the many flaws found in existing portable prompter units.
In addition, a unique audio wireless feedback system allows the script operater to listen to what the presenter and crew are saying and also to transmit the script to the prompter remotely using Teletest's unique 5.8GHz technology.
With a choice of mounting brackets the rig can be used with most cameras, tripods or steadicams. If we don't have the bracket to meet your needs, visit the factory with your kit and we'll do our best to get one built for you.
Script and Cue Monitor Convertor Unit
This compact unit is a World's first.
It contains a 5.8GHz transmitter and a VGA/S-VGA/XGA to composite PAL/NTSC converter.
It also includes picture in picture circuitry which allows the script feed and the cue picture feed to be mixed together on one monitor. This reduces the need for a 2nd LCD monitor clumsily mounted on the promter showing the studio or off air feed.
Although this unit can be used with any established teleprompter system, combined with Teletest's own system where the LCD screen can rotate through 90°, the cue picture can be displayed at the top of the screen with the text beneath it.
