BINORIG - The Broadcaster's 3D Camera Rig

This affordable, compact and lightweight 3D camera rig supports most professional broadcast cameras and lenses.

Shown here are the Pre-Production prototypes which have been field tested and give stunning results.

Based around a high quality beamsplitter this rig has been designed to be just as easy to use and as simple to set up as 2D camera systems.

This means that a freelance cameraman can now offer a complete 3D recording service from one Pelicase!

Calibration of the cameras for inter-axial and convergence settings is motorised and straight forward to adjust with the remote control included.

The remote control has presets so again, a freelance cameraman can operate on his own.

In addition, the camera rig can be used with any tripod or Steadicam and can also be shoulder mounted.

Many parts used with the BINORIG are from the TELEPLATE Camera Mounting Plate system making it multi-purpose, particularly for those choosing to use Sony EX range of cameras with the kit.

The last remaining machined parts came in today for the motorised mechanisms for the Inter Axial and Convergence adjustments. We will be assembling them over the next few days and hopefully get the cameras on the rig again by Friday.
