Camera mounting plate

PRE-LAUNCH DETAILS - April 2010

The TELEPLATE is Teletest’s new rugged camera plate system for EX1 and EX3 cameras.

These lightweight plates are screwed to the underside of the camera ensuring a strong contact between base and tripod.

Such plates are essential for EX owners as there has been many sad reports of their cameras falling off tripods due to the inadequate fixing system.

To assist cameramen mounting their cameras on broadcast tripods, quick release VCT toe pieces or other tripod mounts can be fitted to these plates.

The TELEPLATE also offers a shoulder mount which can be easily fitted when needed. It rests over and behind the shoulder, improving balance and providing more comfort for the cameraman.

The TELEPLATE power distributor offers an alternative to using EX batteries and fixes to the shoulder mount. This distributor accepts an XLR-4 input and a choice of V-Lock, PAG or Anton Bauer battery plates. It provides 7 separately fused power outputs for the camera and accessories and also features a low battery indicator.

The TELEPLATE system is compatible with Teletest’s 3D camera rig, the BINORIG and is available in April from Teletest or their dealers.

The web site will be updated at the end of March with all the details.
